PRODUCTS AND RATIONALE GOAL: Launch a microfiber program that reflects your customers existing protocols and procedures.

CHANGE THE PRODUCT THEY USE, NOT THE POLICIES TO USE THEM . Launching a successful microfiber program with quick growth, we have learned, is directly related to a broad enough program to ensure the products reflect a myriad of existing facility protocols. A narrow product offering is more difficult to implement as it may not adequately match existing protocols. For example, EVS may have the protocol to use 3 cleaning towels in a room; one for equipment, one for hard surfaces and one for the bathroom. Offering 3 colors in towels matches their existing protocol. Factors such as geography, existing facility procedures, square footage and surface area, along with transitioning from rags to microfiber towels are the basis for our suggestion to offer both 12x12 and 16x16 towels.

PHASE ONE – Launch immediately with current stock inventory.

PHASE TWO – Create HLSG proprietary microfiber towel and/or private label.

*What to know: Hold a microfiber towel up to the light when comparing to view density.

MICROFIBERWET MOP PADS AND STRING MOPS

Starting a microfiber program with one Scrubber Pad designed for universal use on all surfaces is essential. With an eye on ROI, we suggest two Wet Mop Pad options. The Superior Wet Mop Pad is the most durable microfiber pad applicable to most facilities with RFID chipped pads remaining in the rental pool for more than a year. The Lightweight Wet Mop Pad is an alternative designed for smaller square footage rooms and predominantly for improved ROI for those facilities that notoriously loose products. Currently, two String Mop weights account for almost 95% of that product category which is why we recommend both the 18 OZ and 22 OZ Microfiber String Mop for an easy transition using their existing weight.

PHASE ONE – Launch immediately with current stock inventory.

PHASE TWO – Create HLSG proprietary Wet Mop Pad with HLSG private label. Internal RFID chipping option in the mop during production.

*What to know: Cut any microfiber pad in half to view the inner core. Our inner core is microfiber, not foam. Be aware that a foam interior core deteriorates with heat, is not as durable and presents the potential of foam inside laundry equipment.

DUST MOP & HIGH DUSTER

Representing dust mop sales, we recommend offering the most common size of dust mop: 48”. The two High Duster Sleeves we suggest represent necessary cleaning differences. PHASE ONE - Launch immediately with current stock inventory. The hardware for the dust mop and high duster can be direct sale or a rental product. PHASE TWO – Create HLSG proprietary dust mop. Internal RFID chipping option for the mop during production. The hardware can be Web Site Direct Sale items.

*What to know: High Dusters are often an overlooked product with incumbent microfiber agreements.

NON-WOVEN DISPOSABLE TOWEL AND FLAT MOP For Red Bag Rooms

Optimize ROI by ensuring reusable microfiber does not end up incinerated in the Red Bag . For infectious rooms and areas which require Red Bag procedures, disposable towels and pads are the solution. As direct sale products, they help increase ROI of reusable microfiber pads and towels.

PHASE ONE - Launch immediately as Direct Sale Items.

PHASE TWO – Web Site Direct Sale Items

*What to know: These items are typically already stocked on an EVS cart.

HARDWARE Direct Sale or Rental Products

PHASE TWO – Create HLSG proprietary products. Web Site Direct Sale Items.

We will offer free mop bases and handles hardware for initial installations. Thereafter, we recommend charging for hardware to reinforce proper care or offering as rental.

* What to know: Customers may have hardware that will work with the microfiber products.

ABOVEAND BEYOND:TRAINING, EDUCATION AND MARKETING Training in multiple stages with a team approach is the best propellant. Utilizing a Webinar platform, we will Train the Trainer as well as the GM’s, Customer Service Representatives and Route Drivers if you wish. Additional training includes on site at each laundry location and availability to train End Users when needed. Co-selling opportunities within IDNs leveraging our GPO status as an Approved Diversity Supplier for all acute care GPOs is further guidance we offer. Marketing to keep HLSG front and center is our goal. Our role is to do all we can to support the success of your microfiber program. We will work with HLSG for any marketing materials such as email blasts, social media spots, sell sheets and catalogs for PHASE ONE. PHASE TWO – We will continue to support HLSG marketing as we work towards HLSG goals of web site development, direct sale, proprietary and/or private label products and additional product verticals.

Education will include relevant articles, PDF Catalog and sample rings of microfiber products. We also offer expertise in situational selling, including strategies for selling against incumbent microfiber agreements. Adding microfiber as an addendum to your agreements creates the opportunity for HLSG to extend existing agreements.

*What to know: While we thrive as co-creators, our goal is to highlight your HLSG brand as the spotlight. “ Our industrial microfiber towels and mops maintain their look and feel with multiple wash cycles within a rental pool over an 18-month period .” - Darrin Allen, ACA Enterprises
